Software Engineer

## About the Role Cisco is hiring an entry-level Software Engineer to work on networking products and automation. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop, test, debug, and enhance software while learning Cisco's networking technologies. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain software components. - Debug and resolve software defects. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams. - Write clean, secure, and maintainable code. - Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement. - Learn and apply networking concepts such as routing, forwarding, and security. ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Basic knowledge of Python programming. - Understanding of networking fundamentals including routing and forwarding. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork skills. ## Nice to Have - Internship or academic project experience. - Knowledge of Linux. - Familiarity with software development lifecycle. - Exposure to automation or testing frameworks. - Interest in enterprise networking and Cisco technologies.
