Senior AI/ML Engineer

## About the Role Carrier is hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer in Hyderabad to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered engineering solutions. The role combines software engineering with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, automation, and cloud-native development to improve engineering productivity and digital transformation. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern frameworks. - Build AI/ML-enabled solutions, integrations, and automation workflows. - Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. - Integrate Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-agent capabilities into production solutions. - Develop unit and integration tests and support overall software quality. - Troubleshoot application issues and improve reliability and performance. - Collaborate with architects, product owners, and global engineering teams. - Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design reviews. - Support DevOps, MLOps, security, and continuous engineering productivity improvements. - Maintain technical documentation and follow software engineering best practices. ## Requirements - Professional experience building production software applications. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, LangChain, RAG, or AI agents. - Experience with Python, React, Node.js, and FastAPI. - Experience developing APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications. - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - Understanding of DevOps, MLOps, and cloud-native architecture. - Experience with GitHub, AI skills/evals, logging frameworks, or similar engineering productivity tooling. - Strong software testing, debugging, and problem-solving skills. ## Nice to Have - Experience with Anthropic skills and AI evaluation frameworks. - Experience building agentic AI workflows. - Knowledge of LLM observability and production logging. - Experience with CI/CD automation. - Experience improving engineering productivity through AI-powered developer tools. - Strong experience working with distributed global engineering teams.
