Software Engineer, Backend

## About the Role Wisdom AI is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to join its founding engineering team. You will build highly scalable backend infrastructure, large-scale ML and data pipelines, and cloud-native systems that power AI-driven enterprise analytics. ## Responsibilities - Design and build scalable backend services and distributed systems. - Develop high-performance data and ML pipelines. - Build cloud-native infrastructure for AI workloads. - Optimize systems for scalability, reliability, and low latency. - Collaborate closely with founders, customers, and product teams. - Contribute to engineering architecture and technical roadmap. - Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering practices. ## Requirements - 2-6 years of backend software engineering experience. - Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java. - Experience building distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines. - Knowledge of cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments. - Strong understanding of system design, databases, and backend architecture. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ## Nice to Have - Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow. - Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, or ML infrastructure. - Experience working in fast-paced startup environments. - Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices. - Experience designing highly scalable cloud platforms.
