## About the Role Apple is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Hyderabad to build and maintain software systems used across Apple's products and services. The role involves software development, problem solving, debugging, testing, and collaborating with engineers to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable production code. - Develop and integrate backend services and APIs. - Analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions. - Debug software issues and improve application reliability and performance. - Participate in code reviews and engineering design discussions. - Work with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. - Contribute to automation, testing, and continuous improvement of engineering processes. ## Requirements - Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C++, or similar languages. - Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. - Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and development lifecycle practices. - Familiarity with SQL, databases, APIs, and distributed systems. - Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. - Experience working with Git and Linux-based development environments. - Good communication and collaboration skills. ## Nice to Have - Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native development. - Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems. - Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing. - Experience developing high-scale or highly reliable software. - Exposure to system design and performance optimization.
