## About the Role
Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Tax Transformation Office (TTO) team in Hyderabad/Gurugram. The role is focused on building, enhancing, testing, and deploying tax technology applications using a .NET and Angular full-stack architecture.
## Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- Develop applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Build and maintain Angular-based frontend applications.
- Develop REST APIs and integrate frontend and backend components.
- Work with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and Entity Framework.
- Design and maintain microservices-based applications.
- Debug, refactor, optimize, and maintain existing applications.
- Implement database performance improvements and software design patterns.
- Test and deploy applications while maintaining high code quality and low production defect rates.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with US and offshore teams.
- Work with Azure services and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
## Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Angular 10+ and frontend/backend integration.
- Experience with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Experience with Entity Framework 6 or above.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of OOP, design patterns, application security, and database performance tuning.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
## Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure App Services.
- Familiarity with NPM and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience building reusable libraries and components.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and application lifecycle management.
- Experience working with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders.
